Adventures to FI Retreat

Learn from FI Experts in Montana beauty

About the Adventures to FI Retreat

Located at beautiful Whitefish Lake Lodge, Adventures to FI retreat focuses on building a life you love on the way to FI and beyond. Choose between a standard two day ticket or a four day VIP experience.

Adventures to FI provides an opportunity to learn from some of the smartest and most dynamic voices in the financial independence community while enjoying the amenities of a 4 star resort just outside of Glacier National Park in Montana.

You have the option of a two day event more focused on creative paths to FI and looking at FI math beyond the 4% rule, enabling you to reach your FI lifestyle much faster.

Adding two extra days with the Premium ticket will give you a smaller group size of 25, VIP experiences and activities, group meals and mastermind times with the speakers. During the VIP days, we’ll take a deep dive into intentional and connected living, clarifying your vision for your FI lifestyle so you can make those changes sooner rather than later.

Past Events

A look at past retreats I have hosted at Whitefish Lake Lodge.

Accomodations

You are responsible for booking your own accommodations as they are not included in ticket prices. You are welcome to stay anywhere you like for your accommodations! There is local camping and a variety of hotel options in the area.

The event is held at Whitefish Lake Lodge and many of the activities will take place there. If you want to stay in the resort, we have a group room rate (information sent after registration).  Book your rooms early, because space is limited based on availability. A double queen room averages $145 a night at the resort and are large and comfortable. For attendees, I will provide access to a shared room document to help connect those looking to split a room. Whitefish Lake Lodge also provides airport pick up and drop off for overnight guests. The Lodge also offers a free shuttle to downtown for guests.

Estimated cost per person for a shared Double Queen Room: Friday-Monday ($225+ ) or Wednesday-Monday ($425 +)

Covid Plan

Update April 27, 2021: It looks like everyone will be able to be vaccinated by October. To maintain the safest event, I strongly recommend being vaccinated, if possible. Proof of vaccination won’t be mandatory, unless it contradicts the CDC guidelines. If you are unable or unwilling to be vaccinated, you will be responsible for the cost of the event if you develop a fever or Covid like symptoms and aren’t allowed to attend the event. I want to hold the safest and most enjoyable event, which largely depends on attendees being vaccinated.

I am optimistic based on Dr. Fauci’s timeline for small in person gatherings by late 2021. In his statement (Oct 2020), a viable vaccine should be ready early in 2021 and most activities can resume by Summer 2021 with the exception of very large indoor events (over 1000 people.)

In the situation that this isn’t the case, our tentative Covid plan has three parts.

1. If by July, airline travel isn’t recommended or small in person gatherings are still prohibited, I have a contingency plan to push the entire event to 2022 with our venue.

If those things are allowed but for whatever reason, you don’t feel comfortable traveling, there are two options. In July 2021, you can opt to:

A. Transfer your ticket to someone else with no transfer fee. (I will create a waitlist shared spreadsheet to connect parties, but won’t handle the money.)

B. You can opt to save your ticket for the 2022 event.

My goal is to have a safe and comfortable event for everyone!  Adventures to FI total guest size won’t exceed 100 guests for the 2021 event. The event space is able to socially distance up to 115 people. The luxury home is 3000 sf with ample outdoor space to spread out. Extra sanitizing measures will be in place. Masks may be required indoors depending on state and US recommendations. If a person starts presenting Covid symptoms at the event, testing or quarantine from the group will be required, and a refund will be provided for that person for the remainder of the event.
